Δήλωση του Δημάρχου Αγρινίου Γιώργου Παπαναστασίου για τη νέα διάκριση του αθλητή Φώτη Ζησιμόπουλου :
«Σε έναν ιδιαίτερα απαιτητικό αγώνα, το Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Βουνού,
εκπροσωπώντας την Ελλάδα, ο Φώτης Ζησιμόπουλος τερμάτισε στη 13η θέση με χρόνο 10 ώρες 33.18! Ο υπερμαραθωνοδρόμος, νικητής δύο φορές του «Σπάρταθλον», καταξιώνεται στους κορυφαίους αθλητές στον κόσμο. Συγχαρητήρια Φώτη, συγχαρητήρια και στην ΓΕΑ για τον αθλητή της».
